Itinerary

5:00 PM – Pick-Up in Whitehorse

  • Meet at your designated pick-up location in Whitehorse.
  • Our guide will greet you and you’ll begin your scenic drive to Mount Sima for your ice climbing and fondue experience.

5:45 PM – Arrive at Mount Sima

  • Arrive at the Big Ice Tower at Mount Sima, surrounded by the majestic Yukon wilderness.
  • Gear up with climbing equipment and receive a quick safety briefing from your certified ACMG guide.

6:00 PM – Ice Climbing Adventure (2 Hours)

  • Start your 2-hour ice climbing session on the towering Big Ice Tower.
  • Your certified guide will lead you through the experience, ensuring safety and providing personalized support for both beginners and experienced climbers.
  • Enjoy the thrill of climbing in one of the most stunning winter landscapes in the world!

8:00 PM – Fondue Dinner

  • After an adrenaline-packed climb, it’s time to relax around a cozy fire.
  • Enjoy a delicious wild fondue dinner featuring wild bison and elk, complemented by melted cheese and tasty sides. The perfect way to unwind and savor the flavors of the Yukon.

8:45 PM – Relax & Enjoy the Scenery

  • Take in the incredible mountain views and the tranquil atmosphere as you relax with your group.
  • Snap some photos, chat about your climb, and enjoy the winter surroundings.

9:30 PM – Depart Mount Sima

  • After a memorable evening, we’ll drive you back to Whitehorse, with arrival expected around 9:45-10:00 PM.

What to bring with you?

-To ensure you're comfortable during your Ice climbing & Fondue adventure, please bring warm layers, including:

  • A windproof or waterproof jacket
  • Snow pants
  • A hat, gloves, and scarf
  • Non-cotton layers made of wool, fleece, or down
  • Thermal socks
  • Comfortable, insulated boots

These items will help keep you warm and dry in the wilderness, ensuring you can fully enjoy the experience.

The minimum age to book with YuSquatch Mt. Adventures is 18 years old unless accompanied with a legal guardian on the tour.

Cancellation policy

  • Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: 100% refund
  • 29 to 15 days before departure: 50% refund
  • 14 to 7 days before departure: 25% refund
  • 6 days or less before departure: 0% refund
